L’evento che si avvicina, Europerio8, vedrà la presentazione di un nuovo interessante progetto che coinvolgerà tanto la salute orale che il complessivo benessere del paziente. La parodontite,infatti, si collega a molti livelli con il diabete e valutare le implicazioni di tale patologia sistemica a livello del nostro distretto di competenza, permette una visione d’insieme da non sottovalutare. Il congresso si svolgerà a Londra dal 4 al 6 giugno 2015 e sarà svolto interamente in lingua inglese, anche se non mancherà la possibilità di avere traduzione simultanea in altre lingue.

Quintessence Publishing together with Sunstar Foundation have the pleasure of announcing the release of another fascinating project linking Periodontitis and Diabetes (Oral Health and Systemic Health). The project partner is Sunstar.
For the first time, the proceedings of a European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) Workshop, on the associations linking Periodontal and Systemic Diseases, will be captured via a sophisticated HD video animation, and premiered at the opening of the EuroPerio 8 Congress June 3-6 2015 in London.
The animated video is part of the Cell-to-Cell Communication saga, featuring the highly complex intercellular interactions and signalling pathways, that Quintessence Publishing prides in producing. At the same time, the project is fully aligned with Sunstar Foundations’ educational initiatives focusing on the link between Oral and Systemic Health to enhanced health promotion, disease prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
EuroPerio8 will be held entirely in English. Simultaneous translation into French, German and Russian for all sessions in the Main Auditorium. Other language translations will be provided upon request from EFP national societies.
